What are our aims?

  1. Promote the study and development of agricultural science and associated disciplines;
  2. promote and maintain professional standards in the fields of agricultural science and associated disciplines;
  3. promote lifelong learning and increase knowledge and understanding between professionals (members and non-members) in the fields of agriculture and associated disciplines, through organised activities; and
  4. support the education and career development of those pursuing a career within the agri-food industry.

What do we do?

Each year we organise a series of events, visits and seminars that reflect the latest thinking and issues that impact the agri-food sector. Some of these are member-only events.  As well as providing unique opportunities for members to expand their professional knowledge base, each event provides valuable networking opportunities with colleagues right across the agri-food industry in Northern Ireland.

We also support future agricultural graduates through participating in mock interview sessions, attending careers conventions and providing career information sessions.
